Our Class of 2010

We had many accomplishments to celebrate in May. On May 14, John was inducted into the Architectural Honor Society, Tau Sigma Delta. The ceremony and reception were held in the Architecture school on campus.

John is congratulated by the Dean of the Architecture program.

The Catholic University of America uses the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for graduation ceremonies. The entire graduation was a great mix of pageantry and intimacy, when the diplomas were handed out by the deans of the individual schools.
John received prayers at the end of the Baccalaureate Mass, along with other classmates who are giving at least one year of their life in service to others. John will be working with students in the Bronx, as part of City Year, New York.

We celebrated with dinner at John's favorite restaurant.

We are all proud of John, who persevered for four years and graduated magna cum laude on May 15!

Greg's fiance Ali graduated the first weekend in May from Franciscan University of Steubenville, a school well loved by our family. It was an honor for me to celebrate this great occasion with Ali's family and Fr Denny!

Ali juggled her academics and athletic commitments as a member of Franciscan's volleyball team for four years. Well done, Ali!

Such wonderful pictures, Lorrie! John's graduation from the pictures and your descriptions at his party, appeared to be a moving and beautiful conclusion to four years of hard work.

Thanks for including Ali's graduation pictures as well. If my math is correct, when Ali and Greg marry, she will become the 16th family member to be a Steubenville grad or student. (I'm including Christine who will have started school in August).

That's quite a feat. We should try to get a picture at Greg's wedding of all 16 for the alumni magazine.

Hope you're having a blessed week at the beach.

Love, Teresa
